BudgetInMind
User Manual

BudgetInMind's primary goal is to help you manage your accounts, in order to get a comprehensive picture of your assets and liabilities. While the result is appealing, most people struggle with the fact that to get to this result, you must enter your transactions.

Fundamentally, every Company controls it's accounts and enter them. Why? Simply because mistakes happen and you must check the bank, not the reverse. You shall be in charge of your finance, not the bank.

Furthermore, bank statements on the web only give you what they see. All the checks you have made but that are not cashed, are not visible, yet you do not have that money anymore. Or, you are planning for a large expense and you need to save for it, but again, the bank has no knowledge of it.

So yes, to manage your accounts, you must enter them yourself. This way, you will really see what you spent when entering your transactions. Now, it doesn't have to be tedious, it doesn't have to be slow. BudgetInMind human interface was designed to make entries as fast and painless as possible. We will explain all the various accelerating tricks in this chapter.

Note:  You need to open the Add Book Entry View to enter transactions. Refer to Add Book Entry View and Scheduler View for an overview of the interface.
